Someone on CF said: batteries are for starting, alternators are for driving. Check and clean your connections and after you tighten them check to see if they are still loose. Another thread had a post about some batteries the post bolt would bottom out and feel tight but the cable would still move. Guaranteed to cause intermittent problems. Good luck with this and try carrying an adjustable wrench with you in case you need to change out the battery or tighten the bolt to make it work until you get it fixed permanently.

Did you back off to parking lights when you were fixing your broken headlight? If you left it on maybe you killed the battery. Try a recharge.

I would check all the connections before jumping out and buying a new battery, I had a 1999 Z28 and because it was nicely modded, the battery connections would loosen which caused it to do the same thing.

Hope it is a cheap and quick fix.

Just out of curiousity, did you check your DIC for a voltage reading?

The DIC voltage only works when the car is running BTW

Bad terminals - not clean

My battery cells blew and the battery was destroyed inside!

Take it out and have it checked or borrow one from a friend to see if it is the problem.

Just remember you will need to reset your KeyFob and Radio if you have it on the anti-theft lock! SEE OWNERS MANUAL FIRST! on how to reset or diengage the Anti-theft Radio feature follow instructions on FOB's per Manual!

Thanks,Matt
