I've ordered more than a few times from Ecklers-can't say I've had a bad experience even once. I have had some problems with some of the other major vendors. I have learned one thing from the forum- I've had some great experiences with forum vendors (CCA,Golf Coast,ECS,etc.) and some real horror stories with a few others with their promises and failed deliveries and in one case the same defective parts shipped to me no less than four (4) times. Needless to say they made my s--t list.

I've ordered a few times from them and had decent service all except once. It wasn't a big problem, but they did delay my order for no apparent reason for about two weeks.

Their prices seem a little high sometimes too.

An entire day goes by and nothing, so I call them back to learn that the item I had on order will not be shipped until the 31st of MAY.

This is the third time I have had ECKLERS do this to me. I will NEVER order from this company again. They have jerked me around to many times.

Trust me, I rarely get on here and ever say anything negative about a VENDOR, but this is ridiculous.

POINT IS - Don't promise or grarantee anything if you cannot uphold it!!!

Tons of Forum members have had problems with them. It's been 3 years since I've ordered and I will never do it again. A search here will bring up numerous problems with them. Anyone who orders after seeing seeing the problems there should have no basis for ranting.

Oh I agree, I have seen some of the posts and even after I had two previous issues, I had ordered and with success (small easy things). When I took a chance on this item, I mentioned my history with them and I was a bit concerned, but it was promised/gauranteed and I went with it.

I am an idiot to believe it would have worked out.

I just needed a place to come and rant.

This is my AA for issues like this.

Sounds like Ecklers needs to install SAP to keep up with their inventory.....

It took me 6 months to get chrome screws for the rear hatch area. When they finally arrived, most of the chrome was in the bottom of the bag, not on the screws. I returned them and sent an e-mail voicing my displeasure, but never got a response. They still send me their catalog and it goes right into the garbage.

I have ordered about 10 items from Ecklers and I have never had a problem with them. But now I am a litte worried about ordering from them again because of all the problems that many of you have had. For the most part I try to order from Mid America anyway.

The only way they can "GUARANTEE" that it will be there on a certain day is for them to drive it to your house personally!! To many variables.

I seldom order from them, however I've never had a problem with them. Mid America Motorworks gets my money. They are not always the cheapest but their customer service is second to none! Anyone that's been to Fun Fest knows what a first class operation they are. Mike you guys rock!!! David

And no I don't work for them.

I have ordered from Eckler's, Mid America, Zip, Corvette Central, Corvette America, West Coast Corvettes and can't say I have had any real problems. I have gotten the wrong thing a couple of times and was shipped the correct item when I called Customer Service. Right now I am waiting on something from Mid America. Does this mean I should never buy from them again? WRONG
