Default ECKLERS and THEIR PROMISES!!!

Well, ONCE again I have attempted to order something from this VENDOR and AGAIN I get a unfulfilled PROMISE!

I placed this order last week and WAS GUARANTEED it would be here today. So, I get this receipt in the mail yesterday, I call and they inform me that they will have to get back to me. An entire day goes by and nothing, so I call them back to learn that the item I had on order will not be shipped until the 31st of MAY.

This is the third time I have had ECKLERS do this to me. I will NEVER order from this company again. They have jerked me around to many times.

Trust me, I rarely get on here and ever say anything negative about a VENDOR, but this is ridiculous.

POINT IS - Don't promise or grarantee anything if you cannot uphold it!!!

I've never had a problem with them and I'm sorry to hear of your problem.

Eckler's screwed me once and that was enough. There are plenty of other companies that are willing to take your money and treat you a lot better. I have ordered from Mid-America, Zip and GM Parts House with no problems at all. I, like you, will never order from Eckler's again.

I totally agree,Why give false promises. Is it a way to keep the sale or is it customer service stupidity?

I'm still waiting for a call back from them about valve covers...from five years ago..."someone will call you back in one hour."
They don't have everything in stock that they advertise, so it might end up being drop shipped from their source.

I only need one bad experience with a vendor and I'll never buy from them again period. This includes my work place or my personal procurements. I have very little patience for poor service, poor quality or just a lack of giving a shiit on the vendors part. There is way to much competition out there. Wanna bet they don't ship you item when they say they will? Good luck dude.

Funny, that is what I ordered and was promised to have today.

Now, I am told that I will not get it until 31 May, knowing that I needed it much earlier than that.

I just hope that a GREAT Forum Member will have one to sell SOON.

I have had the same experience on more than one occassion and finally learned. No more..Trick me once shame on you trick me twice/three/four times....Oh well, I guess I am a little slow. They seem to say anything to get the sale. They are just down the road and even in person they never have what they sell. There are plenty of other good vendors out there. Plus, their prices are not good!

I have come to find there is no in between with them....either people love them or hate them. I personally have never bought from them for reasons other than stated here. Based on all the threads I see here I think my trend will continue. I have had much success with other vendors and figure why mess up a good thing...as far as I can tell they don't offer anything that another vendor doesnt carry...at least nothing I want.

Sad thing is, ZIP, CORVETTE CENTRAL, ECKLERS and I am pretty sure MID-AMERICA all get this product from the same company and I think that is horse poop that they are waiting until they get more product orders before shipping.

Of course, after speaking to the other vendors, they made no promise.

I got my order within a couple days (They're local to me) but I ordered little stuff that is easy to keep on the shelf.

I'll keep an ear out for repeats. I, like others, sometimes base my choices on whether my pals have been mistreated (not just me directly). If they keep it up I'll drop them from my favortes list as well.

Don't make promises you don't intend to keep.

Ecklers has always had this kind of problem. I never order from them unless I cant find the product somewhere else. I would get charged outrageous shipping charges when I lived in Orlando, 30 min. from them, so I would just drive over there after that. They hardly ever have anyting in stock, their computer inventory doesnt match their physical inventory. And they are usually higher on price than everyone else as well. Well I hope everything works out for you.
