Hi folks. I just added a torch red 2003 Z06 to keep company with my MY 2004 coupe. It's practically a new car with only 530 miles on it ( no flood local car). Has anyone put the 3M clear protection plastic on their cars and if so how much have you done. This car doesn't have a mark on it and I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible. Thanks Rick
I installed the clear protection system by Venture Shield on my black 04Z06 and most recently my new Sierra pick up. Would never buy another car without putting it on. Protection on the nose, hood, mirrors, wheel wells and rocker panels up to the bsm. Stuff is amazing and you just wipe it off with detail spray and it is as good as new. Venture Shield is crystal clear and has a life time warranty. It is cashy and will run anywhere from $500 to $1,000 depending on how much area you want to protect.

Thanks for the info-I found a local installer and will meet with him tomorrow to discuss the installation. Life time warranty can't be beat!!!
3M protection has 5 yr warr. Good product and service. $800 to $1200 depending whether you want to do rocker panels and rear wheel cut outs, etc.
You are right. Do at least front of car, hood, probably bottom of front fenders, rockers. Consider bottom of rear fenders. When you get down to it whether you spend and extra couple hundred is peanuts in tghe overall scheme of things. Do it; you will not regret it.
