Ok guys, I know this will be somewhat of a rehas and most are tired of seeing the same questions so please forgive me. First off I would like to say this one helluva forum for corvette owners and enthusiasts. This place is GREAT.

Ok now to the rehash. I have a 2000 coupe. My car currently has b&M shifter, PRT exhaust with no headers or highflow cats and a honker by callaway. With that said my addiction is becoming worse... I am now looking to replace heads, intake and cam. I am looking for something with good reliable HP gains. When I say good and Reliable I mean something that I can drive everyday if I want to. I want the best of the best. With that being said. I do not want to SC this engine. I will be building the ultimate engine with in the next yr or so, a few pieces at a time so the parts can be written off to the company.

I have been severly bit as well by the MOD Bug. The advice that I was given by others in this Forum was good advice. Complete all the bolt on items first. In the first wave of mods, which we start working on THIS COMING WEEK

MY First MOD Wave as follows;
Corsa Pace Car Exhaust w/ Tiger Shark Tips/ Long Tube Ceramic Headers / Magnum Cold Air Intake / 160 Therm / CAGS / LS6 Manifold w/ new shaner Throttle Body All new Plugs and wires & LOWERED. Still have not quite decided that exact amount of travel I want to reduce, but I will more than likely appeal to the Forum for Good Advice on the amount to lower the car. I do not want to get to where I am pushing around small road kill with the nose of the car!! Then get the guys a Zip to Tune. I hope they got someone good over there on the Tune Job I am still battling the CAM decision, But there are other things that need to be modified out before I decide on the cam.

With All this said, I feel like its Christmas eve. All I want is for Thursday to get here so I can start working on my car and drive it!!!!!
My 16 year Old Boy is been bit as well. Its all we talk about. My C5 has been really good for my Son and I to share!!!

If your looking for the best of the best H/C then here is what I suggest:

-AFR, TEA, or Trickflow heads
-Cam: Decide on which one you want, then go a size bigger. I have the G5X3 and am VERY happy with it and it is 100% streetable.
-LS6 intake
-Tune

Good Luck
