If you spend $300 on that you need to find someone else to manage your money. I would say Vararam, but any CAI will be an improvement. If you have an M6, I would look around and get a cheaper CAI like a halltech, and have money left over to buy a shifter with. The shifter wont make you faster but it will feel better.

Many votes for the Vararam. However in a gas or mileage thread recently, someone posted that his Vararam install did nothing to improve his mileage. Are they supposed to? Or are they strictly a "performance" mod? Since you already have the B&B Exhaust, the Vararam would probably be a good choice.

Just had one installed, it took about an hour a half on a lift at C.o,W., then another hour on the road to computer tune. When first installed be prepared for some "pinging". But when everything is said and done it's well worth it.

A new air intake would be good, whether it be a Vararam, Blackwing, Honker, etc.

What do you mean by that? Was that a long time or a short time for the install?

An intake is nice, but for a big improvment you'll feel every minute behind the wheel is C6 Z06 shocks. I just put them on my car and it makes a huge difference -- corners much flatter, feels far more poised, lane changes are more precise, and the ride is firm but not harsh -- it makes you understand it when people say that a Z06 just feels more sharp and performance-oriented than a C5 coupe. All the parts are about $230 from gmpartshouse.com.
