Parade Question??
Can the mid-roof support a person? Young niece 45 lbs. curious about safety for her and car..Mid- roof meaning the vert topper, any help will be greatly appreciated TIA
you know it is a roll bar. a plastic covered roll bar. if i were to put anything on it i would put a towel down first. better yet can she stand on the seat or even better sit in the seat and wave?
Many have driven homecoming queens without any problems...
Queen and King here - I moved the passenger seat all the way forward, then had her climb up, then he stood beside her(behind the passenger seat) leaning on the halo and stabilzing her. Only problem I had was a face-full of gown anytime I looked to the right.
The answer is yes, the convertible top cover will hold a person (of reasonable weight - and that probably eliminates those over 400 lbs ).
It is BEST if the person resides on a towel, and the seat/console where their feet will be is also protected by a towel.
CAUTION: - it is extremely important that you understand that sitting on this area, especially if you have a coat of wax on it, will be VERY slippery. Therefore - NO sudden turns, no speeding (say above 5MPH).
No problem at all. I have a targa and she sat on the pass side with a towel on the paint.
You can't take it over 146 mph though as it's difficult for for some reason for them to hang on at 147.
