Default Ordering Ipod2car...

Guys,

I am going to order my Ipod2car this week, but I want to make absolutely sure I know exactly what I need for my setup. I am going to ask questions about how I want to do it and what I need. Please do not tell me how you did it, I just want help to get it done with the Ipod2car.

If I ordered this kit from BestBuy, is this everything I need to get the ipod playing through the factory bose radio HU?

NOTE: I have a 2000 Vert. with the factory Bose SINGLE CD deck. There is nothing in the trunk and I do NOT have a CD changer. It is JUST the SINGLE CD Headunit.

I bought the same ipod2car for my coupe. I didn’t have a CD changer or anything in the back as well. After taking the entire consul apart I realized that there is a splitter cord that you need to order.... because the ipod2car acts as a huge CD changer that ends up being you actual ipod.

I bought the cable...Peripheral GMH20T T-harness Adapter from this website:http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TKKLOfy...=Y&i=541GMH20T
good luck

Just what I was hoping for, someone with first hand experience. So what you are telling me is to grab that kit + the GMH20T harness and I am ALL set?

yes ... with both those items you should be perfect...when everything is taken out...its kind of hard to finagle the components in behind the HU...being patient helps.

if you need help at any point...just shoot me an email: mk8k8@hotmail.com

Being patient helps huh? Well I'm screwed then But that was exactly the information I was looking for. It will probably be 2 weeks before I get all the stuff in and get around to installing it, but I will take down your e-mail as I will probably have a question or two.

Thanks MK!
