The only thing that I haven't seen mentioned was when the steel shift forks were changed from the aluminum ones. Does anyone know for sure?!?! Thanks! Chad

It was a production change during the 2003 production run. Happened around early Feb 2003. I've never been able to find the specific VIN sequence for the change.
I'm sure this is in the sticky, but don't forget that all 2004's and "late" 2003's have the RETURNLESS fuel system (RPO = FFS) a.k.a C6 fuel system. This fuel system also puts the the fuel filter in the gas tank.

I gave a very early 03 so I guess I have the aluminumshift forks. They seem OK to me. Since I don't power shift or otherwise abuse the tranny I guess they will be OK for the long haul.

FFS came in around Nov '02 during '03 production run. Mine is a Dec build and has it.
HondaFixer ... Generally, production runs to end of June in production year.
Biggest difference is the 10th digit from the right in the VIN!!!!! Everytime that digit changes, we see an increase or decrease of several thousand $$.
