When my car's power scares me I'll consider the modding bug dead. So far it's alive and well.

I'm not scared to drive my car, but I do worry about it getting scratched/nicked or getting caught in the rain. I'm extremely **** it's very seldom out of my sight. I only put about 1,500 miles a year on it. Before the flaming starts, that's what I intended to do when I bought it and that's how I enjoy it. I have a very nice daily driver to use when I'm not in the Vette.

Haven't got to that point - of course I really haven't done any performance mods yet either.

I think that's normal. I drive, wife sleeps. She drives, I'm wide awake. Doesn't have to be the Vette either.
Same in airplanes. I drive passenger sleeps. I can't sleep on an airline trip either.

I am the same way, it is really hard for me to relax and feel comfortable when someone else is operating the vehicle I am in.

I'm scared of breaking it. I know it's well put together and can handle a lot. I just feel like I have bad luck and if I race it more I'll blow the rear, burn up the clutch, etc....
Not that they cant be fixed but if it happened I couldn't fix it right away..

Not yet, the car is too composed at my power levels. My old firebird would scare me and it has less horsepower than my vette.
