Mask off the back window, AND I used some old sheets and draped them out from under the top to protect ALL of the painted areas close by. Make sure all of your paint is protected. I have been told this is nasty stuff to get on your paint. It is time well spent.
The other important step which is critical is to make sure the top is dry after cleaning. I waited 24 hours to be sure.
Glad I read through this thread, I got the kit earlier this week but haven't applied it yet. I was wondering about the back window, so the protectant is just as nasty on glass? Love this forum.
