I have just installed a set of SS letters on the rear of me black vette. They look great but just wondering if anyone had any trouble with the R. The bottom of the R is sharp and too long. It actually pertrudes past the original R of the car. Does any one have some idea of what I can use to solve this problem. I have been thinking of a dremel tool or maybe snips.
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

The R in my set did not fit quite right either, but did work better than yours. I took a few pictures after installation just in case I need to use the warranty. I think I would call the seller and see what they suggest, they will probably send you a new R.
I didn't hve any problems with mine (also on a black vette) If you're that worried about it, an option to sending it back could be to use a dremel cutoff wheel as a sander and grind down the edge. If you use it as a cutter you may cut off to much, use the side (not the edge) to slowly take away the excess
otherwise you'll be running around breaking one of th 10 commandments....thall shalt not covette
I just installed mine the other week and the directions said that u should size it up before you put it on and if any modifications needed to be made that it should have been done, it worked ok for mine so I guess this did'nt really help your question but its my .02 cents. I hope all goes well.
