So, how does a C5 compare to the standard issue police car?
Is it easy to outrun one?
I'm figuring, no traffic, a couple of straights and turns and see ya later copper.
Anyone have any experience?

IB4TL too! You also need a broad band high power radio jammer to block both the multiband data and voice communications, plus the cell phone used as backup and 'private line' . Without a jammer, your toast!! Beyond this comment, my lips are sealed on ECM, { electronic counter measures] so DON"T ASK. I no longer work in RF and will NOT design or build anyone a jammer, NOR will I even offer suggestions on how to do it. It is quite illegal to operate .....both the Police AND the FCC will be on you, and the FCC are the Feds, big time violation and prosecution.In the 80s Phillips electronics of Beaverton Oregon offered plans and a kit of parts for a radar jammer. Even though it is not illegal to posess knowledge on how to do something, or even to posess parts that MIGHT be assembled into an illegal device, I heard Phillps was proseccuted and convicted because there was stated intent to break the law. Both the Police Laws and the general FCC laws are very clear about not interfering with ANY form of Police communications, as even a radar gun is 'communications'.
Rephrase the question.......On a given road circuit race track, would a Corvette outlap the common police car? In most cases, a huge YES.
BUT....There were rumors of a real special project back about 30-35 years ago. SUPPOSEDLY the Shasta County California boys had Steve Smith Motorsports, a NASCAR chassis builder in the 70s, build them a full race framed and suspended persuit car. It was supposed to be a secret, and even looked a little like a regular cruzer, but the HUGE wide tires and low stance wee dead givaways that it was something special. Steve Smith also wrote the book on chassis and suspension, liteeally HE DID! , "Advanced RaceCar Suspension Design and Development" was THE book in those days.
