What size wheels?
All,
I am looking to replace my stock 2001 coupe wheels with the C6 wheels. I looked at Corvettes of Houston since they are close to home, and they offer three sizes:
C6 Style Reproduction Chrome Wheels
Replace your stock wheels on your C6 or C5 or even your Z06 with our C6 Style reproduction chrome wheels. The C6 Style wheels are available in sets of 4 which includes 18x8.5 and 19x10 or 17x8.5 and 18x9.5 or 17x9.5 and 18x10.5.
I ultimately want to go to a 295/35 or 295/40 width tire (running 275/35 currently) on the rears. I essentially want a wider profile and more rubber on the ground without rubbing or any rubber sticking out of the fender well. So, the different size rims are somewhat confusing to me ..any help/advice would be appreciated.

The C6 Z06 knockoffs (or Ace Slicks?) are available in 18x9.5" and 19x11". You can run the C6 stock or C6 Z51 rubber on them. They will tuck with proper offset.
I am running the C6 Z51 tires (listed in my siggie below) on the aforementioned sized rims - except mine are CCW's. My rear wheel does not have as much offset as an Ace Slick (8mm less) so my tread is in but the sidewall is out (7/16").
