I agree , i would never consider loering it in my area , once in a while it rubs now , i couldnt imagaine it being lowered , it looks nice , just not practical for me.
Sorry to burst your bubble , but i know how to handle fast cars , ever since my 16th birthday i have been drag racing (legaly) I know how to respect cars , and i know what these finely tuned machines are capable of doing. My only problem is deciding weather to take my girlfriend or friends in the passenger seat
Good for you then. You sound like a responsible young man. Remember that you are driving a car that represents achievement in ones personal goals and a status that rewards you with respect from others who see you driving it. Have fun.
Personally, I'd go with wheels first because I'm not a fan of wagon wheels, but that's your call.
Also, it may be safe to drop the rear end a tad, but if you plan on driving fairly often, then I wouldn't suggest dropping the front much (if at all). Again, it's your Vette—do what you see fit.
My nephew just got one and he's 18 - It's a sweet ride!!! He's welcome in our garage anytime to work on his vette. I'll be the first person to slap a wrench in his hand.... Right Matt??
Yeah, it needs to be a lefthanded wrench though...
First of all let me say congratulations and welcome to the forum. Have you thought about the black wagon wheel decals? That would be a quick fix intill you can get some new rims. Theres no way you could lower and still drive it on those roads. I have a k/n dual cone set up for a 98 that I would sell dirt cheap!! I'll be up in that area this weekend if you want to meet up.
I do remember my Graduation present back in 1983, I got a 1982 Navy Blue Corvette and it was purchased at Corvettes of Houston from their Show Room Floor! !
