Finanly have some pics of the vette , my father and I picked her up last week. We debated on getting a nassau , and eventually pulled the trigger , I wanted torch red and he liked this one. I have grown to like the color , and have a blast driving it around. Its the best graduation present i could ever imagine (of course i put some money down on it ). Just bought some chrome tips , what do you think ? Chrome Z06'S or some performance parts ? only have enough for one of the two ?

Wow... HS or college graduation? One heck of a gift. Nassau Blue is my 2nd favorite color... get some chrome wheels and new tires for now... performance parts can wait, but the wagon wheels have to go.
High School , and I agree im leaning towards some nice wheels to make her standout.
Nice Vette!!
On a serious note - learn how to take care of it. You want it to last you for many many years and you want it to look good for a long time - you've gotta devote some time and TLC towards it. Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance....
My nephew just got one and he's 18 - It's a sweet ride!!! He's welcome in our garage anytime to work on his vette. I'll be the first person to slap a wrench in his hand.... Right Matt??
It's an awesome feeling when you do the work yourself and save you a chitload of money!!!

Great ride. Hope your grades are great.
Drive it well, respect it and be careful. Like a road bike it will bite you in the butt when you least expect it.
No get off to college, get a degree and make loads of $ so you can always have a Vette in the stable.
My daughter grads next week from Ohio State and all she wanted was a 4 wheel drive PU. That's what she got.
Back in 64, I got a bus ticket to college, then a plane ticket to Viet Nam.
Sweet.....Im in the process of reeling in my c-5 as we speak .I cant wait.I also vote for new wheels.Wagons are just bottom of the bottom. If I had your car first things first Id change the oil/fresh tune up, and get an intake haltech or something. If you dont mind the wagon wheels just paint them gunmetal and lower your car on stock bolts until you can switch out for some speedline(zo6s) or other.Congrats and enjoy
Heres my 2 minute paint hack. Lowered a bit and wheels a tad darker grey.Maybe someone can photoshop this to give you a better idea.I think it will look sweet lowered on gray/gunmetal
