I have one installed for the past 2 years.
People definitely notice it and comment that it really makes it visible that you are braking...(from both corvette and non-corvette owners)
I have both their CHMSL flasher and sequental brake/turn signal modules. Not only was everything top notch and easy to install, but I get constant compliments from other Corvette owners.
Webelectrics CHMSL flasher is unique in that once it flashes... it won`t blink again until you've been off the brake pedal for about 20 seconds. So in stop & go traffic, it's not flashing all thw time. If you reapply the brake before the timer has run-out, the CHMSL wil come on solid.
I have the brake light flasher and feel that it is well worth the 60 bucks. It let the guy following you an little extra when you first apply the brakes. It might be annoying to them, but they will see it.

Same here. Lot of members in my club are getting them now as well.
I just ordered one. Maybe it's just being so low, but it seems like lots of folks like to get too close to my azz in heavy traffic. Methinks this will back them up a bit (even if they are annoyed).
Just ordered one as well. I have Richards blackouts ( ) on it and it is difficult to see the brake lights so hopefully this will help make sure people can see me. Of course, if someone is behind a corvette they really could become so mesmerized that they run into me anyway...
What I like about it is the feeling that the person behind me notices I have applied my brakes. Most vehicles on the road around here cannot come close to the stopping power that the C-5 has. In general, people stay further back once I have applied the brake.
Like Mike's, mine will blink when applied and will not activate again for another 20 seconds, I think they all do..

Now THAT is a funny reply. You are putting the blinker on to improve the visability of your brake lights yet you black out your brake lights....

You black out your tailight lenses (including the 3rd brake light), and then you're concerned that people won't see you? ARE YOU INSANE! Is looks that much more important to you than safety?
