They are made out of polycarbonate which is what ariplane windows are made out of. They are stronger than you think.

I guess it goes along with being a noob!!Having a hard time sending pics though. I need to figure this out ?? especially when I finish my first wave of Mods!! I own 26 computers in my business and cannot figure out how to send pics. I think I need to join the "Short Bus" gang I saw in the forum earlier today

Speaking of the strength of polycarbonate... I've been 4 wheeling and rock crawling a Jeep for years. A few years ago, someone came up with a clear diff cover made of polycarbonate (cleargearz). Always looked like it could crack open too easily on a rock with the entire weight of a rig on it. Apparently it's as strong as a steel cover due to its shape. I'll pass on the wheels (and the diff cover) by the way!
