I know it is early to talk about this, but where do you stay if you go? I am thinking of going this year.

Most all of us from the OKC club stay at the Comfort Inn. If you are going you need to get a room NOW.

U might try Best Western @ US 62 & 23, Fastglass Corvettes of Jonesboro stay there, we normally have 15 to 25 rooms there, there may be some open this year, u could go our web site fastglasscorvetts.com and send a message to our president to check on any rooms that open up! We reserve our rooms the week we're there for the next year ! ! ! ! It took me almost 3 years to get a room with the rest of the club

That HAS to be an awesome sight, a gathering of 600 or 700 Corvettes in a small town like Eureka Springs.

Maybe you can get a room out of town like Garfield or Rogers? It won't be as convenient, but you'd be there for the events.

I went for my first time last year, 2006, and had a blast, and plan to be there the 1st weekend in October again this year, in fact my brother in law and I got our rooms reserved last January.

One disappointment with the planned 2007 event is that there will be no 11:00 pm to 12:00 moonlight cruise through town as has been done in past years. When I asked why, I was told the following by one of the event co-chairs:

"The BURNOUT IDIOTS managed to accumulate three DWI's, five run into the car in front of them wrecks, one slide sideways into a parked car wreck, eight drive offs while their ticket was being written by the police department, and many other violations. We have enjoyed this event as much as you all, but the contingent liabilities and risk of life and limb have left us no choice but to cancel it."

Too bad really, the drive through town was like a combination of carinval, parade and mardi gras all rolled into one.
