the passenger temp control seems to do nothing, Am I doing something wrong, is there a fix or should i just bring it in under warranty? Id rather get it to work my self if i can (without buying parts)
Works in mine. The wife always has it hotter than I do on my side. Sorry, can't help with the fix, but I'm sure somebody here will know how to fix it. Good Luck!

All there is is a **** right? And when you turn it, it does not affect the digital display at all. That is only for the driver side temp and the ext. temp. I've never really played with it, but haven't noticed it doing anything.
I have had the same thing happen to mine (01' C50...drivers side blowing cool air while passenger side Heat...I have gone thru the settings, making sure it where its suppose to be....not sure what the trigger is for this problem. But it doesn't happen all of the time....I'd be curious to see what the fix is...
I think, from the manual, it states to have passenger side in the straight up twelve O'clock setting when setting auto temp. Then passenger can adjust warm or colder from that point. With about two feet distance between "zones" I haven't notice much difference. " your cold, yes dear I'll turn the air down." Good luck.

It will only vary a few degrees from side to side within the current settings It should not have one side on heat and the other on cool.
Whether it works or not, it was shear GENIUS putting that in the car for the (female/wife) passenger. Haven't you ever heard of the PLACEBO EFFECT? I want to put a fake one in my Mustang for her to turn too!
Give them some kind of control, and they are silent!
yep I have read the manuel, and have set it at the 12'oclock postion with no luck. That sucker blows out heat on the passenger side, and nice cool air on the driver side.....good thing I drive!
But if any one has an idea how to fix this let me know.....I probably end up going to the dealer, which i have been trying to avoid
Check your DIC and see if you have any HVAC codes? Mine doesn't work either, I checked and there was HVAC codes tripped I just have been to lazy to take it to the dealer.
I bought a pair vent covers from the corvette store and they work great! My woman loves them and I can keep the A/C blowing on my side and there's more flow too since the passenger vents are blocked off.

If memory serves ME right, the manual also says you need to set the master "temperature control" to 70 or higher for it to work. Mine is set on 60 all the time. If a passenger is cold, they can shut off their vent....or get out!

From what I remember. If the driver is set for either 60 or 90 then passenger control does nothing. Otherwise its a 10 degree difference +/- on which direction its turned. So its not a real "Dual climate" that will allow a 30 degree temp variation.

I'm with John on this one. The power of suggestion. But I also installed the store bought passenger's vent covers.
