Trust me I am the most anti bling person you will ever know. The only reason I did it, to match my Defi boost and fuel pressure gauges

I think as a bonus they also compliment my C6 shifter ****

the hud install + painting my gauge bezels was a pain in the @$$. i painted my new cluster bezels, assembled the cluster, then went to install it and realized the tabs at the bottom of the cluster were broken. so i had to pull apart the hud cluster and my old cluster to swap parts and then paint the gauge bezels on the old cluster!

it was rediculous.

Nouman,

A simple Wally World $1.47 paint pen could have given you the same end result and zero stress.

Props to Steve@EnglandGreen for pioneering this cheap mod

I would say replace the AC compressure and then starter with welded headers all the way to the X-pipe :

That's funny stuff!

You can see how over-confident he's feeling here, actually threatening me at one point to do it with one hand superglued behind his back.

You could cut the tension in the air with a knife at this point in the project. Things were getting dicey!

Finally he could stand the extreme pressure no longer and collapsed on the floor! He stirred just about the time I was about to dial 911.

In the end, it all worked out.

Hang in there, buddy!

You got it Wayne. Anything else, bring it on. I can pretty much install anything on a C5 only if I am in a mood

AC compressor with headers does suck! Here's a tip though; Undo the motor mount bolt and jack the motor up a bit.
