[Z06] Brake difference

Default Brake difference
What are the differences of Z06 brakes and a regular C5. They both seem to list the same parts as replacement for rotors, calipers and pads. I know the calipers are painted nicely but is the a difference. I see postings that the Z06 has better brakes. What gives?

All the brake parts are the same. The Z06 would stop slightly faster due to less weight.

The Z06 calipers are red and the pads are made from a more aggressive material.
