Wow! Didn't mean to start trouble by posting this.
I would just cut a piece of tubing of the appropriate diameter and length, slit it lengthwise and place it over the A/C line. Not worth the hassle of dealing with parts departments without a clue.
I ended up using about a 3-inch length of clear plastic flexible tubing and slitting it open and placing it over the small radiator hose that is being cut by the shroud. I was able to slightly bend the aluminum a/c line so it is lower now. Should be safe now.

This is the way to go, these darn things fall out so easily without pressure against them,it sorta useless..........IMO

Yes my local dealer really wanted $100 when GMpartsdirect is asking half that. Not only does the factory have a quality control problem, but their OEM parts are also as inconsistent as their prices. GM still insists that the only way to get that rubber part is to buy GM PART #10405439. Sight unseen, I cannot trust GM to buy over the Internet. I love this car for the HP, but I really hate the quality control problems. No wonder GM is in financial trouble again.
I just ordered the upper radiator mount from gm parts direct( Gene) and that lil' bugger was rolling around in that big plastic bag
