When you disconnect battery sometimes have to reprogram key fobs. Don't know if you have memory option and whether that needs to be reset also. Owners manual has instructions for training key fobs.
Can also do a search of forum and find instructions as they have been posted several times of late.

Usually all you have to do is hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob until the horn beeps. Then you are good to go.

Hope you have your theft code for your radio or disable it before you disconnect.

It's not that simple, you need to reprogram them via your DIC. At least that is the case on my 98.

also. If a previous owner has activated the Theftloc and you don't have the code, it's a pain to unlock but it can be done, without a dealer's help, I might add.
