Default Help...power seat question?

I removed my drivers side power seat on our 99 to clean under it. Yeah, I'm a neatnick. I discovered the pin and possibly a plastic insert that connects the rear tilt motor to the bar that tilts the seat are missing. The parts must have come loose and been vaccumed up at one time. There is a light colored plastic horseshoe shaped piece that is attaced to the motor that is still there. I believe a plastic insert/spacer and the retaining pin are what is missing. These parts do not seem to be available separately at the dealer. Any leads where I can get them, or something that I can replace them with? If there are any other parts I need please let me know. Thanks!

Not exactly what I was thinking. I'm going to checkout the hardware section to see if I can find a pin that might work. Maybe I can it in. Anyone else have a bad seat track with some pins?

Since it's the weekend, I'm posting this one more time. Anyone have a lead on a replacement pin and insert?

I just recently had my seat out and know what you're talking about.
Mine is a 2001, so I don't know if all the hardware is the same, but here goes....

The "pin" you refer to is actually a bolt (w/external Torx head; requires an E12 socket), and it's threaded to screw into the tapped hole of the lever that's welded to the shaft of the tilt mechanism. This bolt has a smooth reduced diameter from the tip up to roughly the middle of its length. At that point is where there is a short threaded section, followed by a shoulder. Since the end of it is smaller in diameter than the threaded portion, the clevis that it passes through has a smaller hole on one side than on the other. You might be able to substitute a bolt of correct size & length, but it would require drilling out the smaller hole on the clevis, and then using a locknut on the bolt so that you don't crush the clevis when tightening it all up.
