Default 1999 C-5 Corvette

I WAS GOING TO BUY A 1999 COUPE BLUE IN COLOR THE CAR HAS 43,000 ACTUAL MILES,I WAS GOING TO GIVE $13,500.00 FOR THE CAR,THE CAR IS BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT. THE CAR HAS 2002 CHROME CORVETTE WHEELS,THE CAR DRIVES AND HANDLES GOOD.HEARS THE DOWN FALL WHEN I DID A CARFAX THE CAR WAS WRECKED BY THE FIRST AND SECOND PERSON IN NJ.THE CAR HAS A SALAVAGE TITLE.BUT THE PEOPLE WHO OWN THE CAR NOW HAVE A TENN. TITLE WITH NOTHING ON IT (CLEAR).WHAT IS EVERY BODYS OPIONION ABOUT THE PRICE AND THE SALVAGE HISTORY. WHAT IS THE CAR WORTH? THANKS HARLEY FULL MOON IN VA.

If you could get it for 10k I'd take it!! But 13500 isn't that bad.

I wouldn't hesitate to own the car at the right price, if it's fully loaded ie. HUD, Bose, CD Etc. would be worth about 11 to 12k. Less options, less money. At that age, if you going to keep it 3 - 5 years the history becomes less important. I'd try to negotiate based on the carfax and buy it. Good luck.

I agree with the previous posts. Get away from it as fast as you can. It appears the car was moved around until it got a "clean" title.
