I have had 3 f-bods, latest being my 2000 Z28 that I bought new. While I loved all of my F-bods and the Z in particular.... there is no way I would go back to an F-bod after having the Vette!
I just bought a vette and still have the camaro but I will be selling it. I find the corvette far more comfortable to drive but it is a PITA getting into angled driveways. In fact I can't even make it in my own driveway with the vette I have to drive through the grass. Other then that I live in FL so it never snows, its pretty flat so a vette is a fine daily driver.
I had a '89 Mustang 5.0 that I built and thought was so 'me' back when I was younger. I always think about how 'badass' it was, but I know nothing is like a vette.
If you sell the Vette and go back to the Camaro, you will most likely be thinking about the Vette then, the way you do about the Camaro now. Nothing like a Vette man, just nothing.

Hope that made sense...just woke up..
Halfway!
Oh, thank god you came to your senses, sold the tang and bought a Vette! Do you realize how close you came to being stuck on the dark side? Just kiddin ya man. Muscle cars back in the day, were a blast! And if it wasn't for the rivalry between Ford and Chevy, it would have been boring. And believe me, Ford had some nice looking Mustangs!! I always say "there's nothing like looking in your Rear View mirror and seeing a nice looking Mustang"!!
KEEP ONE OF EACH! There is no (affordable substitute) for a Corvette. I keep the 'Vette "civilized", and my Mustang, rude, Loud, and obnoxious. Each fits the mood of the day. When my wife asked one time why I had 7 cars and four motorcycles, I replied " Silly Girl, Would you go to the golf course with only one club"? Would you go through life with only three dresses, and three pairs of shoes?" DUH, I'll always have 1 Corvette, 1 Mustang, and 1 4X4 F-Series, how could I possibly get through life any other way?!!!!!!!
It's not the car but the times you lived in the past The ol days
always seem better--- when I had my 59 vette wow those were
the days but now----buying another 59 vette would not bring
back those days. Live for Today and dont look back (to long).
Good luck

Yeah.. Not trying to sound too girlie, but I think part of it is those memories from when I had the car, they consume me every time I look at the pictures.. The car reminds me so much of my girlfriend who left me last year and joined the military, the one who I barely talk to and see only every few months, but the same one who was with me everyday just driving around in that car doing nothing or taking road trips or just picking her up from school and how everyone thought it was such a "sweet car".. And how simple my life was back when I had that car, it seemed so worry free, now it's just hustle, hustle, hustle and worry, worry, worry..
