oil ques
can I mix penzoil synthetic with mobil one? Im a quart low and the local places only had this avail.!

I do not think it will hurt a thing to mix it with Mobil 1 (synthetic)

Just in case you did not know, penzoil synthetic IS on the list of approved and tested oils for the C5 and yes it can be mixed with Mobil 1.

A a rule of thumb , in a perfect world it is best not to mix oils of different weights, types, and manufacturers, because the differrence in additive chemistry is a slight number of times could cause additive drop out.
However, additive manufacturers know this and blend their formulations to ensure this almost never happens.
Just remember one oil is better than a mixture of two..
and ANY oil is better than NO oil
