Sure they can go a coupe, if their intention is to cool the rear brakes. Coupes can auto-x too without being accused of trying to "look like a Z06". The ducts serve a functional purpose which are useful on any C5 trim. If they were just for looking like the Z, then everyone would be using the stick-ons.

If everyone wanted to look like a Z, then I guess everyone should paint their calipers red.

Oh wait....

Carbon Fiber Brake Duct
While those look great, that smooth Carbon Fiber is gonna get pitted and sand blasted to hell. Just my .02.

Sorry but that is just a dumb statement. Many people have put "functional" brake ducts on their non Z06 cars and I am sure they were not trying to pass their cars off as Z06's...

According to the members that have them, they hold up a lot better than the OEM ducts. If I remember correctly, one member has had them over a year and they still look brand new.

if you do it your self about $50 alot of labor and add the cost of painting to that
