Over heating problem
1976 L48 350 4-SPEED
I just picked up this car a few months back and with the heat wave here in washington state it is over heating while cruisin down the interstate. I have checked the water level and have put a 160 degree thermostat in it.
Is this a normal thing with the C3, let me know if you have similar probs

No, I would say that is not normal. The radiator may need a going through, or it may be as simple as blowing the exterior trash out of it with compressed air. I've owned 4 C3s and none overheated.
The timing could be off as well. Has the engine been modded insided (bored)? That could lead to overheating.
