Don't see why you would have any overheating problem unless the screen becomes blocked.

I bought mine from Mid America Motorworks, they're a Forum Sponsor. Try madvette.com I've had mine on for over a year now. It's a good idea to check it now and then. I had a plastic grocery bag stuck to mine. David 
PS. It's really easy to install, you just remove a few small bolts, slip it in and replace the bolts. Ten minute job.
