Have to say first of all when you get the stuff it looks great....but yeah the waiting is nuts......if you are not in a hurry then yeah....but unfortunately the time promised and the time delivered are not the same....FWIW they do all the painted pieces you see in MidAmerica etc.....so if you think you can go around them and order elsewhere you would be wrong.
Never one to bash a vendor and like I said the product is awesome...but the time from order to delivery can be ridiculous at times....
Not anymore, pretty much all the major vendors have cut the line out. I agree, it was (or is) an awesome product and a big hit. Problems have been stacking up and I think we were one of the last ones to finally give up on the product line. I think MAD and Ecklers were some of the first because I got customers from them asking me for Kewl stuff saying that they had discontinued. The only thing I could say was "I think we are going to do the same." Its sad, they were a big seller and delivered when it came to looks. Maybe sometime in the future things will get better and Kewl will come back into mass production.
I ordered a rattle can of LMB from a local GM dealer when I was painting my FRC's. Took 2-3 days, a perfect match, and about $15 for the paint and a can of clear.
I got several rattle cans of Electron Blue from the dealer also. I painted my own surround.
