I emailed them more than once and got the following response on 5/15/07.

Hi,
any update on the status or ship date of my order?
Thanks,

NEVER... EVER... EVER... period.

When I posted my story about how he told me my parts were going to be painted the day after I ordered... and then 6 weeks later told me he didn't even have my parts yet.... I just canceled my order.
I remember seeing you had ordered from them... all I could do was
thinking about what you were gonna go thru Larry....Sorry about what you're going thru... I think the title of that Thompson Twins song from the 80's sums it up... it was called, "Lies, lies, lies"

Someone (I'm not gonna say who)... took that literally.

I ordered a rattle can of LMB from a local GM dealer when I was painting my FRC's. Took 2-3 days, a perfect match, and about $15 for the paint and a can of clear.

I didn't put the front plate on my DD because you have to drill holes in the bumper to install it. I do run a front plate on my vette because with all my other mods, it will give them one fewer reason to pull me over.
Greg - you still rock

I have watched these posts lately, and before the flame throwers start - I too am among those waiting for an order to be completed.
I know things have been rough lately, and there is room for them to improve the way they're handling this situation, but let's remember that Kewl is not some big, nameless company. If I am correct they are a 4 person operation with limited capacity. I believe they can only paint 5 different colors in a day, and I suspect a large part of the huge numbers of orders they've received this year are for a few common colors, leaving people who's orders are not for those common colors back logged waiting for them to get a chance to do that color.
I hope they are able to get through this current workload bump and get back on track, as we have seen many of our small business partners go out of business, leaving us with fewer options, which I do not think is what we want.
So, I would suggest that if you want to order something from them, that you do so with your eyes open. Tracy and Greg do answer the phone, but you may not get them every time you call - they are most likely dealing with other customers when they do not answer your call - not out in the back yard sipping on a cold frosty beverage. Like anyone else, they are trying their best to do a good job, and they do have a history of providing great products and service to us - they're just swamped right now.

Never one to bash a vendor and like I said the product is awesome...but the time from order to delivery can be ridiculous at times....
