euro light q?

Default euro light q?

Quick question...I'm about to install my euro lights...the direction say to cut the white wire under the steering column...what is this for??

I hope this is a joke because you don't cut S#@*. I have the clear euro lenses and I just put them in. I have no clue what you are talking about. But don't cut

i was being honest..the directions said cut the white wire under the front steering wheel dash...but i'm not going to cut now

Cutting the white wire seperates the turn signal circuit from the brakelight circuit.

If you don't cut it, your new amber turns signals will also light up when you hit the brakes.

I am assuming you are installing the clear euro driver lenses correct? If this is the case don't cut anything.

He's installing euro taillights, which have seperate turn signals.

yes its the euro taillights....i'm having trouble locating the harness to plug into. directions say pass side but i'm tracing the wires back but looks to be between something. are there any better directions out there??

good deal..the taillights are in....now for that wire...is it the one close to the center console under the steering column? i see the blue, orange and white wires...but the this also has some other colors too. it is connected into the white box

Going just by memory here...(and I installed mine like 4 yrs ago)...if you have the flat panel out above the pedals, follow the brake pedal up until you find the switch...there's only a few wires coming off it (I don't recall all the colors). There, you cut the white wire.

Do not cut it right at the switch, cut it out in the open, so if you decide to reverse this mod in the future, you have some loose wire left to splice it back together.

You definitely need to cut the white wire if you want the lights to work properly.
