Well I finally recieved my new Lingenfelter output shaft in the mail. I installed it and got the car back on the road today. I also replaced the corner lights with clear ones and installed new red bulbs. I think the car looks sick as hell with the red led lights against the black paint. I though I would share a pic of the new lights. Sorry it is a little blurry.
I wouln't drive your car with red lights on the front. they look great, but they are illegal. I've heard of some places where the cops supposedly don't care, but in general you're looking at getting a ticket quickly. put Amber LED's in the front and keep your red ones for show or offroad use.
Red lights on the front? Ain't that illegal, not to mention dangerous????
not at all dangerous, just illegal. if someone wrecks their car because yours has red lights on the front instead of orange then they have no business driving on public roads, they need to go back to driver's ed and learn out to drive safely with some minor distractions present.
Red lights on the front are supposedly to be used on the front by emergency vehicles. White lights are illegal to use on the back other then reverse lights because of the danger they pose to drivers riding behind the vehicle with the white lights. They could cause blindness. That's why tail light are red because they are the easiest on the eyes. That is what a Jersey cop told me anyway when he stopped me for riding with my reverse lights on an old Z28 I had. The reverse lock out was broke and if you did not remember to turn the steering column collar then the reverse lights would stay on.
