Torque capacity is actually the "rating" of a clutch. I don't think the stocker is going to have the holding power for a H/C car already at ~400 ft/lb at the tires, with a shot of N20 on it.
Most of the OEM organic type disc linings don't do well with heat either, so if they slip a little, they glaze, then slip more, then get hot, glaze, , slip, etc. Viscious cycle.

It's about time to upgrade to an aftermarket clutch if you plan on drag racing it.
I havent had the car very long....I come from f-body roots where my 440rwhp wouldnt do anything but out handle my old ws6...I have my hands in too many things to try and make the vette stupid fast like I did the t/a....oh well....n/a it is then....lol
Aggressive driving with 400+ rwhp will generally compress the life-span of a stock LS6 clutch. That life is shorter still if the car see a lot of launches, more so if done on drag tires.
So in your situation, wise to budget for a new clutch and do the installation at first sign the current one is starting to slip.

I'm banned at Capitol until I return with a roll-bar installed in my C6Z. That's a carry-over from 2006 for too many passes under the 11.50 lower-limit, the last ones at a rental, where the ban was put on. I've no plan for a roll-bar. Banned at Cecil too, also at a rental. MIR and Atco are still open to me. Had three spring rentals at MIR filming for the DVD.
