Default Getting Stains out of Beige Convertible Top

I have a few dark stains on my beige convertible top, any suggestions on cleaning products that could possibly get some of the stains out.
Thanks,

I read what I could find about cleaning tops and found that RaggTopp cleaner was recommended. I ordered some but haven't gotten it yet, so can't say first hand how well it works.

I used it on my Lt Oak top this weekend. Came out pretty good. I'll be ordering some more soon just to have when I want to clean it again.

RaggTop works great. I clean my 02's lght oak top once a year with the RaggTop cleaner than seal it with the RaggTop conditioner sealer.

I hope my top comes out looking that good. Mine has some black marks that I am guessing are there from the top being down for years on end... I hope it will get them out.

I find that 2 coats of sealer works a whole lot better after using their cleaner. The first time I used the sealer I used one coat. The second time I cleaned the top and used 2 coats of sealer the top has stayed stain free for over a year.

I had an oil stain (I think) that I used Raggtop on without good results. I also had some "Jungle Jake" that I tried. It worked a lot better.

The "Jungle Jake" comes in gallon bottles at Fleet Farm stores in the midwest. It may be available at other farm and fleet type stores elsewhere. It's a green soap solution that works well on grease and can be used (full strength) to de-grease engines. Didn't hurt the top.

Wow that's what it is supposed to look like! I have the same issue as others. The car basically sat for 3 to 4 years. It didn't get more than 2k miles on it. There are dark spots, and the whole thing looks dingy.

I used 303 and a horse hair brush and it seemed to help, but it looks nothing that yours. I thought maybe 409 might do better if the 303 wasn't strong enough. I don't know if there is any higher number cleaner than that? j/k of course.

I was tempted to get some Simple Green after it, but never having a convertible before, I am concerned that'll make it look worse.

Has anyone tried Oxi-clean?

Another vote for 303. It's a great product. Not that easy to find, although it's available on amazon and some boating/marine supply stores carry it.

I would try the 303 a couple times first. Then if not successful you are kind of in the "well it can only get better" territory. At which point I would probably try simple green before getting really drastic.

I use simple green, and the top looks new.
