I am going to buy a set of ccw's for my c5 conv will the wheelssize really affectmy 1/4 times? What would be the best size for the car,
18's, 19's, 20's?
I was thinking 18x10 in the front and 19x11 in the rear, or 19's all the way around. Will that affect the handling or the ride?

Generally speaking the larger the wheel the heavier it is. Patman is correct, some aftermarket are lighter than stock but it is unlikely an 18" aftermarket will be lighter than a 17" stock (it could happen).
Tire diameter will effect your final gear ratio as applied to the track. A smaller diameter tire will have the effect of a larger rear end gear (better ratio) while a larger diamter tire will have a negative effect.
Tire width will effect your contact patch size. On the rear that means it can potentially give you better traction (assuming the tire itself has the same traction rating). One the front that means the tire is going to be harder to roll and slow you down.
Really though, unless you are talking about dramatic differences you probably won't see more than a tenth difference in times.
