I have a nice new problem, my drivers door panel does not seem to be working. I cant roll the window up or down, can't lock the door, and can't move the mirror. The control pannel did get some water on it.
The Pass window will move with that door control but not the drivers door.
Start by taking the door panel off and checking the wiring connectors on the door control module. If that all looks good, look inside the accordian boot up by the door hinge for a loose connection there. If that checks out good, look for blown fuses. Look at this post for more information,http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1606865
Good luck.

I too had this problem last year. The dealership replaced the drivers door control module and it solved the problem....for exactly one day . I took it back in and they traced the problem to a wire running up to the drivers side rearview mirror. The wire had rubbed through and was causing the door control module to stop working. The wire was replaced and the problem was fixed.
Morale of the story.....
Make sure that you check more than just the control module....
open the door and move the cable between the door and the body around and see if things start working again (even momentarily). If so you have a cable problem...
I am having this same problem right now and looking for the answer how to get it fix.
Last month, the driver's window control panel was fine but dead later when I get to my workplace. So, I left the window down but enabled the alarm from Viper's remote. When I get off and walk to my car, I disable the alarm but somehow the alarm siren went off. The weird part is the window controller started to work again and I could rolled the windows up.
The problem came back again last week. This time it was more serious. Both sides, the driver and passng, were dead. On the way home I had to pulled-in twice because the check engine light illuminated, the gas meter dropped to empty, the temperature gauge went all the way to max, RED. DIC displayed "reduce your engine speed". I turned off the engine and it cleared.
I wonder what going on. Hope somebody can help us fix this problem.

From what I have read over the years on this forum about multiple electrical problems, it always seems to be a grounding problem or a week battery. Do a search for grounding locations. There are several grounding points located in different places around the car, you just need to find them and make sure they are tight. Next, check your battery terminals and make sure your battery is fully charged. I hope this helps...
