Default What Time Is It?

I've replaced the stock stereo deck on my C5 and the new one doesn't display the time unless I pop the screen up and put it in GPS mode. I have a Pioneer AVIC-N3. Any suggestions as to what I could do to get something that would display the current time that would also be visible at night? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks Mud Flap Jones.....I will visit that site....however, I was wondering if anyone had a solution that is not specific to my current deck. In other words, are there any small digital clocks out there small enough to fit somewhere on my dash? Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did they solve it?

Once again, thanks!

ON my Avic D1 if you hide the radio or CD info a small digital clock will appear on the screen. Also, if you go to the "gauges" screen (one of the map display options on the D1) you can set one of the 3 to be a clock.

I'm not sure how similar the D3 is, but I hope this helps.

Thanks RCS...I went through all the menu screens and even browed the AVIC forum website and apparently my model does not have the software to do this. I'm going to research online to see if there are any small adhesive-type digital clocks that I can get and find a convenient place to put it somewhere on my dash....thanks, guys, for your help. Much appreciated.

My father has the same problem with that System on his K2500 Duramax Silverado...he has been trying to figure it out since Thanksgiving.

Good question. I have the same problem with my X1R. The built in clock is unreadable with my eyesight nowadays. I bought a round stick-on clock but it looks really bad.

Hopefully someone will have some ideas.
