Congrats & Welcome!

Beautiful looking ride you've got. Sounds like a good enough deal to me.

Enjoy your new ride!

I find that a clean and waxed Corvette will look much better on my HD computer screen! Welcome to the Forum and Happy Trails! You are after all, driving a legend. And yes, the very first Corvette was dressed in Polo White in '53.

Here a few pics after a quick wash and removal of the Corvette sticker on the windshield.........

What codes would tell me what gear with car should have in it from factory?

Thanks for any help.

Congrats on the '99 - not a bad price at all. And yes, those are the B&B quad oval tips - same as I have on mine.

Codes are on a sticker on the inside of the glove box. You can find out what they mean at the link below. Congrats!!!

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately parts of the stick have rubbed off, I can't find the code for the rear axle. I did find it had a Z51 code? Wouls this shed any light on what ratio the car should have? Thanks again!

If you look at the rear axel, I beleive there is a steel tag that will tell you the ratio.
