I am officially hooked. Since April, I have added the following: corsa tiger sharks, x-pipe, power duct, vararam, gm bra, front and back ss steel inserts, door sill decals, car cover, waterfall decal, cup holder, door sill protector, targa top bag, loyd's mat and 10 coats of zaino. Is this normal? I get excited everytime Fed EX/UPS comes around. By the way, what should be my next step? Cats and headers maybe? Would this void my GM extended warranty? Looking at 400 ponies as goal.

I'm not sure about the warranty (headers may void it), but I was bit by the mod bug a long time ago. I have parts stacking up waiting on some time to install them (LG headers, custom cam, hardened output shaft, dte tranny brace, tunnel plate, extra set of rims so I can run 18x10.5's all around, and new front brakes). Ahh the list keeps growing.

As far as it being normal, I don't know, I can't leave anything stock.

Normal, I am beyond Normal, but not Normal enough to be Normal, unless normal is normal, then I guess I might be or not be normal, can't tell anymore what NORMAL is unless NORMAL has become normal, in which case I am still not sure if I am NORMAL or just semi-normal, Guess I should get some couch time to see IF I CAN become normalized! What the heck,,,,,hand me the Mid-America catalog,,,,,please,,,,come on hand it to me,,,,give me the da** mod bible you BAST*RD!

Sounds like you're about normal to me!

The only way you can stop now is to leave the forum and never, never come back. But we all know that can't be done by you or anyone else! We're all hooked!

At least for a lot of us, the mod bug is totally normal.

For 400 hp, better go ahead and get the headers. You'll need them for the heads & cam install that's coming your way
