In just the past two weeks, I have noticed that when I am gassing the vette up, that the auto filler will click off with only about 6 gallons in the tank. Then I have to finish it by hand going very slow like I am topping off and I can get another 10 gallons in. Anyone else have this happen?

Do you always fill up at the same station? Perhaps their pumps are very sensitive to the pressure buildup when you fill the tank and that is causing it to shut off early. I haven't noticed that problem with mine.
On 04's there is a problem with the gas filler tube. I think your car is an 03' but you might want to check with a dealer depending on when your car was built. David

My '03 has the same issue. Just run the pump slower although there is a new filler neck that you can buy to solve the problem. A search should find you the correct part number.

Confirmed.
2004 are slow to fill,
Why?
I, just like you mentioned, can skuirt in abot half tank, no problem,
Then it takes me ages to fill carefully, on hand, so it don't keep tripping off.
Looking at the bullitin, is this a free swap out by the GM dealers?
