This weekend while l was looking over a 06 Z-06 l noticed that it had a clear front end film that went over the entire front. I had to put my face up to the paint to see where it started. It seemed to be the perfect answer for front end chips. I asked if he was happy with it and he said that when first saw the Z-06 it was already on and the dealer said it cost $700 installed.
Can this be installed on a 5 yr old vette? And is it worth it, up until now l don't have any road chips and l only have about 7 coats of Zaino on it at present.
Thanks
Alan
PS I just don't like the look of the black bra and what are the cons, l already know the pro's.
I have it on my 2001 pewter coupe almost three years now and it works great. It is definitely a job for a professional installer. I think it is well worth the investment.

It has held up well on daily drivers that do 8 to 10 HPDE's a year. After watching it being applied to several cars you definitely want to have a professional install it.

I've got my 3M bra on an '02 and its holding up well. I don't know about the guidelines for applying to a 5 year old car, but if some one does not chime in here, I would ask a 3M bra professional installer.
