The car was stolen!! He just wanted to get away as soon as possible, with drawing any more attention.

Seriously, if some of you guys don't like the thread (because it is a repeat), do NOT read it. This guy is a relatively new to the forum, he expressed an event that occured (like a lot of folks do here) and you all have nothing but a bunch of senseless comments to relay. Way to go guys, that is really nice of you. YOU ARE PROBABLY THE A_holes that don't wave back!

So, pull your HEADS out of your AZ$ and give the guy a break. It is something that will continue to occur here, the BEST TIRE, BEST EXHAUST, THE WAVE, THE CLB, etc threads will go on, so if you get tired of it, DON'T READ IT!

Now, that I have ed out a little.

Anyone want to give me some advice on a good set of TIRES?

Sorry to hijack your thread still asleep, but I just get a bit frustrated at folks that want to be jerks about things.

actually you expressed my sentiments better than I did... thanks.. I totally agree!

good luck on your new tires!

btw, where I grew up, EVERYONE waves at one another, no matter what kind of car you drive, or tractor or four wheeler or whatever.

No problem.

BTW, I am not really looking or tires, I just threw that in as a joke.

Same here on the waves, I grew up in an area that is very friendly and waving is an easy way to say hi! :

As you can see still-asleep, there are friendly people and there are not as friendly people even on a Corvette site.
Do unto others as you would have them do to you... and wave.

I get that sometimes I think because I am so young and they dont think that I deserve the car or I am a spoiled little brat, I will admit I am spoiled because I have the car but I am at the same time paying for it and realize how lucky I am to have the car at the age of 19. But I dont let it ruin my day, there are plenty of other nice vette owners who would love to say hi and chat while I'm sitting at a light.

Hi,
After I changed Oil on Diff, Trans and motor. Run to 405 freeway for testing. On the way home , I saw one vette behind me. Me and him ( his girlfiend next to him) waiting for left turn and after the green light turn on , both on left turn, from behing my car ,his C5 cut in front of my car and he pushed gas pedal and zip that fast .... I did not have time to waive him.....Why he did that I still did not know ....could be show off to his girl friend????

Really guys it's not me!!

Ok since owning the vette I have had opportunity to wave 6 times.

3 have replied with a wave

2 have DEATH TINT and i couldnt see there wave and they didnt roll down the window.

1 the guy was like a mile away on an interstate and leaned 1/2 way out his window and I missed it. My wife didnt though!!

I wanted to turn around and return the wave but that seemed illogical.

Micah I agree with your comments also. Take Care.

Every owner I have met face to face has been down to earth and good people. I always wave but sometimes it's tough to do while shifting. Plenty of non-returners are yapping on their cell's or just have their heads up their ****'s (also not easy to do while shifting)!

There's always one jerk out there - good thing that the majority of Vette owners are .
