Confused on how the convertor works..if it's a 3000 stall..does
that mean you have to get the car up to 3000 RPM for the
power to kick in ?
Also wouldn't that make the car feel kinda slow off of the idle..???
I mean if you put 3.42 gears in it to give it a low end kick..wouldn't
the covertor kind of work against that. How do the 3.42 gears
and the convertor work together.
Can anyone with a convertor in their car comment w/ their opinions.
Seems like they could be very hard on the transmission and wear
it out ?
Also, take a look at the Yank website. Lots of info there. I have a Yank SS3200 and it's near stock feeing, with my 3.15s, until you plant your foot. That converter is designed for 3:15 gears, and is very tight. It's incredible what kind of a daily driver it is until you want to go.
