I have one but mine is the same GM part used on the sides just cut to size. It is different then the others sold by third parties. These mount to the side and act more like a flap then a full seal.
it does its job if you install it correctly. Also, when you wash the car, be sure to open the hood after and wipe out any water that accumulates between the seal and the fascia.
also, its good for at least 10hp..ah hahaha (that never gets old.ever.)

If dust is your concern the cowl cover filter is not worth buying, it will only trap larger particles. It's also ugly. And that hood seal who can give up horse power
only nice thing about the seal right at the edge is that it matches up with the factory OEM seals on teh sides so it looks uniform all the way around in the cracks.
