I always use Sunoco 93 octane. Should I throw in an additive now and then? If so, what and where do I find it? I only drive vet maybe 100 miles a week(on the week-end...nice weather) Thanks in advance
I thought the additives already in gasoline was enough to clean the injectors.
Didn't GM list certain Top Tier Gas Stations. And, I thought some additives could possible damage the internals of the injector.

You are right, there are some additives in the TOP TIER, but SEA FORM does more than act as an ADDITIVE, it is a cleaning agent and does wonders. Check out there website and I also encourage you to call them up and ask questions (I did) and learned that there is only one product for me to my tank and that is SEA FOAM.
Best stuff going. Use the vacuum from your brake booster to suck it into your intake. Do this SLOWLY for about a 1/4 of a can. Then stick the hose in the can until the engine dies. Let sit for about twenty minutes or so. Start engine and run at 1800-2000 RPM's. Watch the show! I do all my cars this way once a year, and you should see smoke, it's outrageous! The first time I did it, my neighbor(Sea Foam convert) came running over. He thought the car was on fire! The smoke will clear in a couple minutes, and the entire upper half of your engine will be nice and clean. Doesn't harm 02's, cats, or fuel system. Add a can or two a couple times a year to keep tanks, lines, and fuel system clean.
We pulled apart a buddies engine(84 C4) who uses Sea Foam faithfully. I've never seen a fuel system in that condition. It was spotless. Even the valves were clean as a whistle. AND the engine had 240,000 miles on her when the oil pump went kaput. Now THATS some kinda clean!
Never used SeaFoam, but did use Techron in my 98 Vert. At year 2000 the gas tank issue hit. Used it in 2 tanks in a row and never had any more problems After that I use a bottle every 4-5 tanks of gas. Sold car in 2005.
I just bought 2 bottles of Gumout maximum clean at Autozone. They are having a sale on them. They were FREE. Buy 2 and you get your money rebated back to you by mail. Not a bad deal. I know that Gumout is a good brand. Maybe not as good as Seafoam but it should do the job and keep $13 in my pocket.
