Engine seals/ gaskets
I'm in the process of installing my new engine and I was wondering if I need to change all of my seals and gaskets or not? I have the book by Will Hanzel and in it he recommends not reusing any of them since they
are " of the compression-carrier design. This means the aluminum surface of the gasket takes the torquing load to control how much compression the embedded silicon sealing surfaces experience."
Also can I reuse the front and rear Crank seals or should I swap them our while I'm in there? Last but not least do I need the seal alignment tools for these?
Many Thanks,
Matt
