Default magnesium wheels

i was looking through my gm parts book and noticed that in 04 there is a part # for a mag wheel that is 10.5in in the rear and 9.5in in the front, shows it for a 04 olny, can anyone confirm this as it would be cool to get wider mag wheels to run Z06 size tires. thanks

Hey man if it's in the book---get em!! My buddy had a set of Mag wheels for his coupe. Pretty light weight.

Slow down before buying mags. They used to be terrible to maintain and keep clean. I believe they used to pit.

Ask around.

Haven't heard of them coming in Z06 sizes. Would definitely confirm that before ordering.

The Mags are lighter, and will make an improvement in handling. They will corrode if they are not kept painted. If you scratch them on a curb the paint must be touched up quickly or corrosion and pitting will occur. Paint that matches the gold tint is available through dealers and Corvette parts suppliers. I think they look great with my Mag Red body color.

Happen to have that part number?

Cant see why an 04 wouldn't fit all C5s, but who knows maybe someone will chime in.
